Anjana Agarwal is a full-time class of 2018 MBA student at the University of Chicago School of Business and a recipient of the school’s A.H. Tobaccowala Fellowship.  Prior to attending Booth, Anjana worked in the Energy team at the World Resources Institute and as a project finance attorney at Amarchand & Mangaldas, India’s largest corporate law firm. Anjana will spend the summer at Allotrope Partners, a cleantech venture capital fund based in Oakland, CA. Anjana graduated with honors from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and has a Masters in Law from Harvard Law School.

Chris Mork is a full-time class of 2018 MBA student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Prior to attending Booth, Chris spent three years with McKinsey & Company in their Chicago and Oslo offices.  With McKinsey, he focused in asset-intensive industries, with particular focus on the Oil & Gas industry, serving onshore US and North Sea operators as well as OFSE firms on strategy and operational issues.  Chris will be returning to McKinsey in their Chicago office.  He graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with highest honors from the University of Notre Dame.

Jim Peck is a full-time class of 2018 MBA student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Prior to attending Booth, Jim was a design engineer at FMC Technologies responsible for new product development and product line management for the surface wellhead product line.  He began his career at Dow Corning as an engineer working in the Environmental Services group at their flagship chemical manufacturing plant.  Jim will spend the summer of 2017 in Texas working for ExxonMobil in their Treasurer’s group.  Jim earned his B.E. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2012.

Jarren Xie is a full-time class of 2018 MBA student at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to Booth, Jarren worked as hydraulic fracturing field engineer with Schlumberger Well Services and production stimulation engineer with Schlumberger PetroTechincal Consulting. In 2014, Jarren transitioned to BCG and spent most of his time working on operational improvement, optimization, and cost cutting projects for a major oil and gas client. Jarren will spend the summer at Credit Suisse’s Houston office in their energy team. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with B.S. and M.Eng. degrees in petroleum engineering.

Mengling Yang is a full-time class of 2018 MBA student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, pursuing concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Finance. Prior to attending Booth, she spent three years working in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. Mengling graduated with honors from Vassar College with a B.A. in Economics and will spend the summer interning with Tesla in Palo Alto.

Jingjia Zang is a full time 2018 MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to Booth, she worked 6 years in the commercial organization of ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66 in Houston.  She has experience working in the midstream group with roles in risk management, operations, and market analysis.  Most recently, she was responsible for managing hedging positions in gasoline and distillates as an execution trader on the clean products team at Phillips 66. Jingjia graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.S. in Finance. She will be interning with Chevron’s Finance MBA Development Program in California this summer.
